We Are Moving The Needle and anti social camp are teaming up to present a Student Songwriting Contest! Five lucky winners will be selected to attend anti social camp, the largest songwriting camp in the world, from June 9 - 13 in New York City. Surround yourself in the creativity and hustle of New York City while collaborating with other artists, songwriters and producers in recording sessions, writers’ rounds, and feedback sessions. Contest winners will receive a complimentary ticket to anti social camp and mentorship with We Are Moving The Needle’s world-class network of mentors!

Applications are now open for scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year! Scholarships will be awarded at the $5,000 and $10,000 level to students pursuing degrees in music production, audio engineering, and related fields. These scholarships provide meaningful support to women, trans, and non-binary creators building a future in the recording industry. In addition to financial support, each scholarship is paired with a mentor and equipped with gear from one of our leading industry partners.

This initiative is designed to provide flexible financial support for rising seniors and recent college graduates, ensuring a smoother transition into the workforce. With the generous support of Sweetwater and the Zankel Music Fund, these MicroGrants help close career development gaps and turn big dreams into real opportunities!

MIX WITH THE MASTERS: DAVID WRENCH MASTERCLASS

We Are Moving The Needle proud to continue our collaboration with Mix With The Masters to offer 2 full scholarships to David Wrench’s 4-day masterclass at Rue Boyer Studios in Paris, France. Each day will feature immersive workshops, listening sessions, and discussions hosted by David Wrench himself, where he will delve into his creative process, uncovering the tools and techniques behind the distinctive sounds of the albums he mixed. Apply by July 31, 2024.

We Are Moving The Needle’s MicroGrants series is specifically designed to be a flexible fund for rising seniors and recent college graduates that supports smooth transitions into the workforce. Grants will range from $500 to $1,000 to provide immediate assistance that can turn the impossible into the possible. Apply by August 25, 2024.
